Intravitreal Injection is needed to slow down the growth of blood vessels in the eye caused due to either blockage in the retina because of High Blood Pressure or changes in the Retina due to diabetes, also termed Diabetes Macular Edema.

An intravitreal Anti-VEGE is given in the OT to slow down the growth of blood vessels in the eye.

No artificial material is used during Intravitreal Injection in Varanasi. An injection is injected into the patient.

Topical anaesthesia is used during Intravitreal Injection, which is used just to numb the skin's surface, which causes a superficial loss of sensation.
