Dr. Sunil Kumar Sharma has completed his MBBS in 2007 from prestigious King George Medical University , Lucknow , MD (Medicine) in 2011 from Motilal Nehru Medical College Allahabad and DM(Neurology) in 2018 from GMC Kota, Rajasthan.
Dr. Sunil Kumar Sharma has special interest in the management of various movement disorders and he has treated almost 100 patients with Inj. Botox for various indications such as Blepherospasm, Hemifacial spasm, cervical dystonia, Oromandibular dystonia, Writer’s cramp etc.
Dr. Sunil Kumar Sharma is also having expertise in Electrophysiological studies such as NCS(NCV), EMG, RNST, VEP, BAER etc.
Dr. Sunil Kumar Sharma has worked on thesis entitled “Problem Faced By Married Women With Epilepsy In Indian Scenario-A Hospital Based Study” during his DM neurology at GMC Kota and presented it as an award paper at the annual conference of Indian academy of Neurology held at Raipur (IANCON-2018). He received cash prize and certification for the same. This thesis work is also published in International Journal Of Epilepsy.
He has also presented posters at INTROPICON 2017 – entitled- “Facial chorea evolving to Hemichorea-hemiballismus in HIV Positive Patient - A Rare Association” and IANCON-2017 entitled- “Long Segment Extensive Transverse Myelitis in a Patient of Ankylosing Spondylitis” which was later published as a case report in Indian Journal Of Rheumatology in January 2018 issue.
He has 4 year experience in managing acute stroke patients specially thrombolytic therapy, seizures, Meningitis, Encephalitis, GBS and various movement disorders etc.
